British Airways hat den ersten großen Avios Sale für dieses Jahr gestartet. Mit 270 000 Avios kann man eine ganz schön große Summe erstehen. 35% Bonus lohnen auch.

1 This promotion is only open to Eligible Participants. An Eligible Participant is aged 18 or over and is a British Airways Executive Club (‘BAEC’) Member whose registered address is in the UK or EU. Wer ganz viele Avios braucht, kann den Umweg über die Household Accounts gehen. 7 Personen dürfen einen Haushalt bilden. Man braucht die gleiche Adresse im British Airways Executive Club Account und muss nicht verwandt sein. Jeder der Teilnehmer kann natürlich die Avios kaufen. Der Haushaltsvorstand darf über diese Avios dann verfügen.
Cathay Pacific Langstrecke Hong Kong – Europa: 1 650 Euro
Cathay Pacific First ist mit regulären Tickets sehr selten günstig machbar. Hier lohnt sich definitiv ein Umweg mit Meilen. Bei Verfügbarkeit einfach die Meilen kaufen und den Flug buchen. Keine Warterei und kein mühsames Meilensammeln. Um 1 650 Euro kann man von Hong Kong nach Europa fliegen. Die andere Richtung ist um einige hundert Euro aufgrund der höheren Steuern und Gebühren abgehend von Europa teurer.
