Marriott Bonvoy gibt wieder einen Status Match …
Marriott Bonvoy bringt für eine kurze Zeit den Status Match mit einer Status Challenge zurück. Der Status wird für 90 Tage auf Platinum (eigentlich auch Gold, aber der lohnt nicht wirklich) umgestellt. Innerhalb dieser 90 Tage hat man 15 Nächte für Platinum zu schaffen. Dann hält man den Platinum bis Anfang 2022.
Die Geschichte ist sehr hot. Die Marriott Status Challenge zu Platinum hat es eigentlich über das Callcenter immer schon gegeben. Nun erhält man aber auch innerhalb der 90 Tage Challenge den Platinum Status als Status Match.

„For a Limited Time, Marriott Bonvoy is bringing back status challenge for Hilton Honors, World of Hyatt, Accor Live Limitless and IHG Rewards Club members. The offer launches today toward elite status in Marriott Bonvoy.
As they compete in the challenge, eligible members will be able to immediately receive status and enjoy benefits for Marriott Bonvoy’s broad portfolio including luxury brands like The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis and W Hotels and distinctive independent hotels in the Autograph Collection as well as Marriott Hotels, Sheraton, AC Hotels by Marriott, Aloft, Moxy, Courtyard by Marriott, Residence Inn and more.
Eligible members of these four competitor programs will receive either reciprocating Gold or Platinum elite status in Marriott Bonvoy. In order to maintain their Marriott Bonvoy status through February of 2022, those eligible for Gold elite status will have stay at least five nights at any of the more than 7,400 hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy within 90 days. Those eligible for the higher Platinum elite status will have to stay at least 15 nights within the 90-day period.
What is in it for Hilton Honors members?
If you currently have Gold or Diamond elite status in Hilton Honors, the reciprocating status challenge offer is Platinum elite status in Marriott Bonvoy.
What is in it for Hyatt members?
If you currently have Explorist elite status in World of Hyatt, the reciprocating status challenge offer is Gold elite status in Marriott Bonvoy.
If you currently have Globalist elite status in World of Hyatt, the reciprocating status challenge offer is Platinum elite status in Marriott Bonvoy.
What is in it for Accor Live Limitless members?
If you currently have Gold elite status in Accor Live Limitless, the reciprocating status challenge offer is Gold elite status in Marriott Bonvoy.
If you currently have Platinum or Diamond elite status in Accor Live Limitless, the reciprocating status challenge offer is Platinum elite status in Marriott Bonvoy.
What is in it for IHG Rewards Club members?
If you currently have Platinum or Spire elite status in IHG Rewards Club, the reciprocating status challenge offer is Platinum elite status in Marriott Bonvoy.
What is in it for Marriott Bonvoy Base and Silver elite members?

Marriott Bonvoy members will receive Platinum Elite status for 90 days (“earning period”) upon registration approval. Member will have 90 days to book and consume 15 eligible paid nights to retain Platinum Elite status until February 2022. After that, Platinum Elite status will be retained by staying the required number of eligible nights under the terms of the Marriott Bonvoy program.
Marriott Bonvoy members who do not book and consume 15 eligible paid nights within 90 days after registration approval will revert to the membership level they held prior to this promotion, or to the membership level that corresponds to their total qualifying nights, whichever is higher. Nights consumed prior to registration approval are not eligible.
Credit toward this promotion is given for eligible paid nights consumed at participating Marriott Bonvoy hotels that occur within the earning period.

Only one room per hotel or resort is counted toward a member’s nights.
