Bei Virgin Atlantic Flying Club gibt es eine Namensänderung. Virgin Points verfallen nicht mehr und derzeit erhält man doppelte Punkte.
Namensänderung
“The new name ‘Virgin Points’ better reflects the diverse way you can already use them. The name change also helps paves the way for an expanded range of ways to earn and spend Virgin Points. . Your Flying Club membership remains unchanged now and in the future, but this re-brand means you’ll have more choices to earn and spend your hard-earned currency next year, using Virgin Points.”
Punkte verfallen nicht mehr
“It’s just a name change so instead of the currency being called Flying Club Miles we’ll now refer to them as Virgin Points. However, unlike Flying Club Miles, Virgin Points will never expire. Members will continue to collect tier points and earn and spend miles as usual – re-branded as Virgin Points on 24 September – across Virgin Atlantic, Delta and other partners.”

“The name change won’t affect the value of your miles. This is just a re-branding of Flying Club Miles to Virgin Points. For every 1 mile in your Flying Club account, you’ll now have 1 Virgin Point. Members can still earn tier points as they usually would, whilst Silver and Gold tier benefits and options for earning and spending points all remain unchanged – all that’s happening now is the name change to the currency and removal of expiry.”

Doppelte Virgin Points als neue Promo
“Members do not need to register for this offer. Members must book a flight through virginatlantic.com, virginholidays.co.uk or via our contact centre to be eligible for the bonus
Flights must be both operated by Virgin Atlantic and marketed by Virgin Atlantic (flight number starts with VS) to be applicable for the bonus points. Codeshare flights are excluded from this offer.
Travel completed in all classes will earn double points per sector.
Applicable for flights booked and tickets issued between 24th September 2020 – 1st October 2020.
Reward tickets are excluded from this offer, apart from Points Plus Money bookings which are applicable for bonus points.
Bonus points will be added to the total points earned for the flight. Bonus points will not appear as a separate transaction in the member’s online account.
Gold members (60%) and Silver members (30%) will still earn tier bonus points. The promotional points will be included in the tier bonus.
The normal Flying Club points and the bonus Flying Club points will be automatically credited to your Flying Club account within seven days of your Qualifying Flight’s.
Normal tier points will be earned.
This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other Virgin Atlantic promotional offer.
The earning and redemption of Flying Club points are subject to the standard Flying Club Terms & Conditions (which are subject to change from time to time).
