Was ist Virtuoso?
Virtuoso ist ein Hotelvermittler der im gehobenen Segment Buchungen mit Vorteilen ermöglicht. Die Benefits sind durchwegs sehr interessant.
Was kostet eine Virtuoso Rate?
Virtuoso Buchungen sind in der Regel die stornierbaren Zimmerpreise. D. h. was bei einem Hotel als eine stornierbare Buchung als Preis angegeben wird, ist normalerweise auch der Preis bei Virtuoso.
Sind Virtuoso Rates stornierbar?
Die Virtuoso Buchungen sind im Normalfall vollkommen stornierbar. Die Stornierbedingungen sieht man aber genau auf der Buchungsseite. Die Kreditkarteninformationen werden verschlüsselt an das Hotel weitergegeben und so das Zimmer reserviert.
Erhält man Punkte und Stay Credits?
Bei einem Meilen- und Punkteblog ist das natürlich super interessant. Virtuoso Rates sind fast klassische Buchungen. Man erhält Punkte und Stay Credits. Die Elite Benefits müssen nicht gewährt werden, aber viele Hotels geben trotz Buchung über Virtuoso noch Upgrades. Mit Punkten und Credits kann man rechnen, weitere Upgrades sind eben eine Sache des Hotels.
Warum online buchen?
In der Regel benötigt man für eine Virtuoso Buchung einen Vermittler. Die muss man anrufen oder man schreibt eine Email. Das finde ich persönlich relativ mühsam.
