Mit Bilt Rewards für eine World of Hyatt Status Challenge registrieren …
UPDATE: 2: E-Mail mit Bestätigung der Challenge ist draußen! Accounts ohne Explorist wurden auf Explorist raufgestuft.
UPDATE 1: Die Registrierung der Accounts dürfte gerade laufen. Einige Accounts sind schon auf Explorist umgestellt. Sollte man mitgemacht haben, kann man im Quellcode der Hyatt Page die Registrierung überprüfen. Bei Hyatt einloggen und den Quellcode der Homepage öffnen. Dort sollte man nach der Registrierung “BILTTTPROC” und “BILTTTPROM” finden. Die offiziellen E-Mails zur Bestätigung fehlen scheinbar noch.
Auf den US Blogs wird man dieses Status Challenge schon gesehen haben. Bilt Rewards ist eine Art Bonusprogramm für Mieter in den Staaten. Die haben nun eine Kooperation mit World of Hyatt geschlossen und bieten eine Status Challenge für den Top-Tier Status Globalist an.
Die Anmeldung läuft bei Bilt Rewards bis 01.04.2023! Kunden von Bilt Rewards bekommen diese Promo in der App angezeigt! Die Promo richtet sich scheinbar an US Kunden, aber die Anmeldung klappt für Kunden in Europa auch ohne Probleme.

So eine Status Challenge ist natürlich eine sehr interessante Sache. Ich kann nicht garantieren, dass es funktioniert. Man wird über die Status Challenge bis 17.04. informiert.
Ich habe mich angemeldet und dafür sind doch ein paar Schritte notwendig:
- Zunächst braucht man einen Bilt Rewards Account. Man muss keine Kreditkarte abschließen (einfach abwählen) und man braucht keine Wohnung. Man muss sich einfach nur mal bei Bilt Rewards anmelden.
- Bilt Rewards will dann eine Verifikation. Dafür benötigt man eine US Telefonnummer mit SMS Empfang. Um 6,84 Euro kann man bei Skype eine US Nummer mieten. Diese Skype Nummer habe ich für die Verifikation bei Bilt Rewards verwendet und das hat geklappt.
- Dann braucht man die Bilt Rewards App. Die gibt es nur im US Apple Store und Google Playstore. Also US Apple Store Account errichtet und die Bilt Rewards App geholt.
- Mit dem Bilt Rewards Account in der Bilt Rewards App einloggen und die Promo wird bei “Rent Day Rewards” angezeigt. Dann verschaltet man in der App World of Hyatt Account mit dem Bilt Rewards Account.
- Schließlich erhält man eine Bestätigung: “We received your request for World of Hyatt Elite status. You’ll hear back from us no later than April 17th with details on your enrollment.”
Ich kann das Funktionieren natürlich nicht garantieren. Anmelden konnte ich mich. Bis 17.04. wird man mich über die Challenge informieren.
20 Nächte Challenge (bis 16.07.) für World of Hyatt Globalist bis Februar 2025 ist eine spannende Sache. Da kann man den Aufwand schon mal riskieren.

Ja, man benötigt eine US Telefonnummer, die SMS weiterleiten kann. Ich habe es mit einer gekauften US Skype Nummer geschafft.
Bei der Fehlermeldung bin ich auch angestanden. Nicht alle US Anbieter von SMS Weiterleitung schaffen das. Die kostenlosen Dienste sind scheinbar sogar gesperrt.

Ich habe sowieso 16 Übernachtung in dem Zeitraum geplant, da lohnt sich sogar dann ein Matrass Run un 20 vollzukriegen
Die kostenlosen Forward SMS Dienste haben alle gesperrt und die Fehlermeldung bei Bilt Rewards erzeugt. Mit echter US Nummer klappt das sicher.
Bei anderen Bezahldiensten muss man ein wenig aufpassen. Nicht alle bieten SMS Weiterleitung. Manche werben mit SMS Weiterleitung schaffen die dann aber nicht.
Und wie soll man ohne amerikanische Kreditkarte das Apple Konto auf USA umstellen? Das ist technisch unmöglich.
Ich hab mir auf einem alten Iphone neue E-Mail und US Account geholt. CC musste ich nicht eingeben. US Postleitzahl muss man erfinden. Da gibt es aber sicher Anleitungen.
So das hat tatsächlich geklappt. Mit Android ist es einfacher da man APKs für alle Apps runterladen kann.
Bin gespannt und warte auf die Bestätigung Mitte April.
Kannst du mal bitte erklären, wie man das macht? Für mich ist der Download aus dem Play Store weiterhin nicht erlaubt :(

Data point – Anmeldung hat wie beschrieben geklappt.
Microsoft hat anfangs ein wenig gezickt und mir die gebuchte Skype-Nummer gleich wieder storniert – vermutlich hat die Nutzung eines VPN in Kombination mit meinem US Microsoft-Konto und meiner UK MasterCard ein paar Alarmglocken im System klingeln lassen. Nach erneuter Verifizierung und erzwungener Passwortneusetzung hat es dann aber beim zweiten Versuch funktioniert.
Die BILT-App konnte ich direkt aus dem Play Store installieren, mein Google-Konto ist US-basiert.
Der Verfizierungscode von BILT kam übrigens direkt als (Text-)Nachricht im Skype an, ohne Weiterleitung. Nach ein paar Klicks in der App war dann alles mit Hyatt verlinkt und die E-Mail mit dem Hinweis auf die Benachrichtigung bis zum 17. April war in der Inbox.
Jetzt stellt sich nur die Frage, ob mein Hyatt-Account vielleicht vorsorglich in die USA umziehen sollte…

Updates: die ersten 4 Nächte sind geschafft, welche mir fehlten.
Habe 15.500 Punkte investiert und bekomme davon 10.000 zurück. (Global Promo und Lindner Hotels Promo – danke für Hinweise auch dafür) Das sind die Nächte für fast umsonst.
Restliche 16 Nächte waren sowieso geplant auf unserer Reise durch Asien. (Kuala Lumpur und Bali)
Ohne Challange hätte ich nie Globalist geschafft, danke für die Anleitung und Tipps! Für mich Hoteldeal des Jahres.
Wir können mit Globalist nach Dubai, Abu-Dhabi und Kapstadt reisen. (Alles gebucht) Außerdem stehen Japan und Marokko auf Reiseliste in 2024.
