Die sehr lockeren Rollover Regeln für XP Punkte werden von Flying Blue beschränkt. Ab 2024 kann man nur mehr 300 XPs als Platinum ins nächste Jahr mitnehmen. Vorher war die Zahl der Rollover XPs nicht beschränkt und man konnte innerhalb eines Jahres für Jahre XPs für den Platinum Status sammeln.
Die neuen Regeln:

What is surplus XP?
Surplus XP are any XP earned above the 300 XP threshold, which are carried over to your next qualification period.
What is the new surplus XP cap?
With the new surplus XP cap, you may carry over a maximum of 300 surplus XP to your next qualification period, equivalent to one additional year of Platinum status. This means that you may no longer carry over unlimited surplus XP and must continue to regularly earn XP to qualify for, or maintain, your Platinum level.
I have less than 300 XP in my counter. What does this mean for me?
Your situation remains unchanged. You maintain your status by earning XP on eligible flights or sustainable options like contributing towards Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
I have more than 300 XP in my counter. What does this mean for me?
During the one-year transition phase starting November 2024, every 300 XP earned in excess of the 300 surplus XP cap will be converted into one extra year in your Platinum for life counter.
Example: On 31 December 2024, a Platinum member has 900 XP in their counter. Their new qualification period starts on 1 January 2025. As of 1 January 2025, 300 XP is used to maintain their Platinum status
(900 XP – 300 XP). A maximum of 300 surplus XP will be carried over to their next qualification period (600 XP – 300 XP). The remaining 300 surplus XP is converted into one extra year in the member’s Platinum for life counter.
300 XP to maintain Platinum status during 2025
300 surplus XP to carry over to the new qualification period, in order to maintain Platinum status during 2026.
300 XP to convert into one extra year of Platinum for life”
