Viele haben das über die Kooperation von American Express mit Shangri-La genutzt. Eine Platinum Amex hat den Shangri-La Jade gebracht. Die haben dann wegen Covid-19 diesen Status mehrfach verlängert. Das ist aber jetzt ausgelaufen und die Amex Platinum bringt keinen Shangri-La Jade mehr.
Für den Shangri-La Jade gibt es aber gerade eine alternative Promotion. 10 Nächte bis Ende Mai verschaffen einen Shangri-La Jade. Die Statusbedingungen wurden also halbiert. Wer in Asien unterwegs ist, findet da mitunter günstigere Shangri-La Hotels.
Die Bedingungen:
“The “Golden Express to Jade” Promotion (“Promotion”) is organised by Shangri-La International Hotel Management Limited (the “Company”). By participating in the Promotion, you are deemed to have fully understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Shangri-La Circle members may register to participate in the Promotion from 26 February 2024 to 31 May 2024, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”) via the Promotion registration page (https://www.shangri-la.com/en/landing/golden-express-to-jade-24/)
The Promotion is only open to Shangri-La Circle Gold Members. Each Member can only upgrade his or her membership status by one-tier through Shangri-La Circle Points earned through this Promotion, namely from Gold status to Jade status.
Gold members upgrading to Jade status must complete 10 Qualifying Nights or achieve 3,000 Tier Points (“Promotion Requirements”) at Participating Hotels within the Promotion Period.
Only the Qualifying Nights or Tier Points achieved within the Promotion Period, inclusive of the start and end date will be taken into consideration for the membership upgrade.
Members must quote their Shangri-La Circle membership numbers at the time of room reservation and present their membership cards (digital or physical cards) upon check-in at the Participating Hotels to participate in the Promotion.
For the purposes of these terms and conditions:
“Qualifying Nights” refers to room nights at participating hotels booked through Qualifying Room Reservation Channels;
“Qualifying Room Rates” refers to any published room rate of Participating Hotels found on the Shangri-La Circle website or booked through Qualifying Room Reservation Channels including Rack Rate, Flexible Rate, BonusChoice, Advance Purchase, CustomStay, hotel package, negotiated Corporate rate, convention or meeting rate, and such other room rates as the Company may at its sole and absolute discretion determine to include or exclude from time to time as Qualifying Room Rates;
“Qualifying Room Reservation Channels” refers to Shangri-La’s official hotel room reservation channels such as Shangri-La website, Shangri-La Circle Mobile App, Shangri-La WeChat Mini Programme, Shangri-La official telephone reservation hotlines, through Participating Hotels directly and other Shangri-La approved hotel room reservation channels as may be specified by Shangri-La from time to time; and
“Participating Hotels” refers to Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts, Kerry Hotels, JEN Hotels and Traders hotels and such other hotels participating in Shangri-La Circle
Subject to Clause 8 below, Tier Points shall be earned at the rate of 1 (one) Point per 1 (one) U.S. dollar of spend during the Promotion Period:
at Qualifying Room Rates for Qualifying Nights booked through Qualifying Room Reservation Channels;
on qualifying incidental charges and qualifying spend at Participating Hotels; and
on qualifying orders made on Shangri-La Boutique, orders made on Shangri-La Boutique must be successfully delivered or picked up by 31 May 2024. Shangri-La Boutique cash vouchers or gift cards must be redeemed and utilized within the Promotion Period,
and such earned Tier Points will count towards qualification for the next higher tier, and renewal of the current tier of the participant’s Shangri-La Circle Membership status.
Qualifying Nights and Tier Points exclude room nights and spending reserved under long stay rates, room awards redemption rates and Shangri-La Event Rewards. Tier Points shall not be earned on spending arising from government and local taxes, service charges, tips, in-room movies, telephone charges, business center charges, transportation or other third party services contracted out by the Participating Hotels, goods and services provided by retail outlets, merchandise, gift certificates or vouchers, health club charges, function room charges, banqueting, catering, events spend, late charges, no-show charges and cancellation penalties.
Participating members must complete the stay or transaction including, successful delivery or pickup of Shangri-La boutique orders, during the Promotion Period and by 31 May 2024.
Once the participant’s membership has been upgraded, his/her current Membership Tier will be valid until 31 December 2025.
Upon successful accumulation of Tier Points or Qualifying Nights within the Promotion Period by a Member, his or her Gold membership status will be upgraded two to four weeks after the end of the Promotion Period and reflected in the Member’s account.
The Promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other offer and promotion.
The Company may at its absolute discretion, cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion or amend or substitute any of these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
Shangri-La Circle’s terms and conditions (available at: https://www.shangri-la.com/en/corporate/shangrilacircle/terms-conditions/) shall apply to this Promotion and be incorporated by reference into these terms and conditions.
Any collection, use and disclosure of participants’ personal data will be strictly in accordance with the Company’s privacy policy (available at http://www.shangri-la.com/corporate/shangrila-centre/privacy-policy/).
The Company’s decision on all matters relating to the Promotion will be final and binding.
In case of conflict or inconsistency between different language versions, the English version will prevail.
These terms and conditions shall be construed and governed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong SAR. ”

Na das ist doch mal ne geile Promo..bin grad 2 Monate in Asien unterwegs und aktuell im Hilton Sydney…da wird doch jetzt mal schnell auf Shangri-La Sydney umgebucht..:-)
Hatte Jade eben durch die Amex und grad wieder verloren..passt also wie A* auf Eimer gerade..
