Für SAS EuroBonus Mitglieder gibt es neue Möglichkeiten für Statusmatches …

SAS ist ab September bei Skyteam und Star Alliance hat nun mit einigen Mitgliedsairlines eine große Statusmatchpromo für SAS EuroBonus Statusinhaber gestartet. Turkish Miles&Smiles Status Match und United MileagePlus Status Challenge sind jetzt keine Neuerung und kennen wir seit Jahren.

Die Matches und Challenges schauen so aus:

Air Canada Aeroplan

“Under the Star Alliance SAS EuroBonus offer, approved applicants will receive status that is valid until 31 December 2025.”

Air China PhoenixMiles

“Under the Star Alliance SAS EuroBonus offer, approved applicants will receive status that is valid 12-months from approval date.”

Air India Flying Returns

“Under the Star Alliance SAS EuroBonus offer, approved applicants will receive status that is valid 6-months from approval date.
To retain the status beyond 6 months and extend it for a further 12 months the following challenge must be fulfilled:
Silver members need to either:
Take 10 flights (including connections or stopovers) of which 2 must be operated by Air India; OR
Earn 5,000 Tier Points of which 1,000 must be from Air India flights.
Gold members need to either:
Take 20 flights (including connections or stopovers) of which 4 must be operated by Air India; OR
Earn 10,000 Tier Points of which 2,000 must be from Air India flights.”

Ethiopian ShebaMiles

“Under the Star Alliance SAS EuroBonus offer, approved applicants will receive status that is valid until 31 December 2024.
To retain the status beyond 31 December 2024 and extend it for a further 12 months until 31/12/25 the following challenge must be fulfilled:
Silver members need to:
Book 1 return flight with Ethiopian Airlines* by 31/12/24 for travel before 31 August 2025.
Gold members need to:
Book 2 return flights with Ethiopian Airlines* by 31/12/24 for travel before 31 August 2025
Eligible flights are those operated by Ethiopian Airlines in eligible booking classes for mileage accrual. This includes codeshare flights and must be operated by Ethiopian Airline.”

Lufthansa Miles and More

“If your application is approved, you will receive the corresponding frequent flyer status in the Miles & More programme within 10 business days, valid until 28 February 2025 and receive a further year extension if you meet the following requirements, either:
a) Frequent Traveller Challenge: Complete 2 flight segments with Lufthansa Group airlines or co-issuing Miles & More airline partners* by 30.11.2024 to extend status to 28.02.2026.
b) Senator Challenge: Complete 6 flight segments with Lufthansa Group airlines or co-issuing Miles & More airline partners* by 30.11.2024 to extend status to 28.02.2026.
*Eligible airlines: Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Croatia Airlines, Discover Airlines, Eurowings, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Lufthansa City, Luxair and SWISS.”

South African SAA Voyager

“Under the Star Alliance SAS EuroBonus offer, approved applicants will receive status that is valid until 31 December 2025.”

TAP Miles&Go

“If your application is approved, you will receive the corresponding frequent flyer status in the TAP Miles & Go programme within 7 business days, valid for minimum of 12 (twelve) months from the date of Approval.
You will receive a further year extension if you meet the following requirements, either:
a) Silver: Complete 2 flight segments with TAP Air Portugal AND 10.000 status miles starting on the day status was granted
b) Gold: Complete 6 flight segments with TAP Air Portugal AND 20.000 status miles starting on the day status was granted
If you complete the challenge requirement, your status extensions to 2026 will be assessed for all status match challenge participants according to your membership period and granted where challenge requirements have been met.”

Thai Royal Orchid Plus

“Under the Star Alliance SAS EuroBonus offer, approved applicants will receive status that is valid 24-months.”

Turkish Miles&Smiles

“Under the Star Alliance SAS EuroBonus offer, approved applicants will receive status that is valid for 4-months (trial period).
To retain the status after that 4 months trial period and extend it up to 12 months the member must have fulfilled the following:
Elite members require:
1 international Turkish Airlines flights
To retain the status for a further 12 months and make the status valid for a total of 2 years:
Elite members must:
Accumulate a minimum of 15,000 status miles before the end of the first 12 months following approval”

United MileagePlus

“Under the Star Alliance SAS EuroBonus offer, approved applicants will receive status on a trial period basis. For exact validity of the trial period, visit https://www.united.com/ual/en/us/fly/mileageplus/offers/promos/SM2024.html.
To retain the status after the initial trial period and extend it until 31 January 2026, the member must have fulfilled the following:
Premier Silver – Fly 4 PQF and earn 1,300 PQP on flights operated by United or United Express
Premier Gold – Fly 8 PQF and earn 2,600 PQP on flights operated by United or United Express
Premier Platinum – Fly 12 PQF and earn 4,000 PQP on flights operated by United or United Express
Codeshares flights are not eligible under this offer.”
