As of today, eligible British Airways and Iberia status holders worldwide may apply for a Frequent Traveller or Senator status match.
This exciting offer will allow eligible customers to upgrade and enjoy unique elite benefits until February 28, 2026. Benefits include priority check-in, priority boarding, increased baggage allowance, and lounge access throughout the Star Alliance network*.

Wo findet man die zitierten Infos? Auf FT wird im betreffenden Thread im BAEC-Forum gerade berichtet, dass für BAEC-Applikanten ein britischer Wohnsitz nachgewiesen werden muss mittels “Government issued ID”, was dem “status holders worldwide”-Passus widersprechen würde. Kann man da mal klären, ob das tatsächlich so gewollt ist, oder ob statusmatch.com da ein copy&paste-Fehler vom AFKL Flying Blue Match unterlaufen ist?

Status Match ging innerhalb von 4 Stunden durch, habe 0:30 angefragt, 4:40 die Bestätigung.

Hier genau umgekehrt, wie bei VS:
Premier zu Senator ist ein Armutszeugnis, wie auch CRC’s überhaupt nicht erwähnt werden und besser bei HON angesiedelt sein sollten.
Aber der gegenwärtige BAEC zum April inkl. anderen Namen „neu erfunden wird“ und sich ebenso wie auch M&M massiv verschlechtert hat, lohnt sich hier ein matchen überhaupt nicht mehr.
Jetzt bleibt nur noch abzuwarten, wann M&M sich auch neu erfindet- natürlich NUR auf Kundenwunsch und alles alte über Bord wirft und vor allem auch Hürden für Statusupgrades ändert- v.a. wenn es um die künftigen „Schnorrer“ mit dem Titel „Lifetine x“ geht.
Hier hat auch BA die Hürden extrem nach oben geschraubt- das könnte LH auch irgendwann einmal einfallen.
