Marriott Bonvoy hat mit dem Ambassador Status eigentlich schon einen Über-drüber-Status. Den erhält man bei 24k USD Umsatz. Wer aber wirklich viel bei Marriott schläft, 100 Nächte und 40k Umsatz schafft, der erhält nun ein neues Feature.
Mit 40k Umsatz plus 100 Nächte gibt es das Plus One Benefit. Bedeutet man kann einen Ambassador mit jemanden an der selben Adresse teilen.
Bedingungen:
„vi. Ambassador Plus One Benefit. Eligible Ambassador Elite Members have the ability to grant Ambassador Elite status to another Member (the “Plus One Benefit”), subject to the following terms:
(A) To be eligible for the Plus One Benefit, a Member must (i) have status of Ambassador Elite or above, (ii) have achieved one hundred (100) Elite Night Credits, and (iii) spend $40,000 of Annual Qualifying Spend (thus becoming an “Achieving Member”). An Achieving Member may gift Ambassador Elite status to a companion, spouse, or significant other (“Recipient Member”).
(B) The Recipient Member and the Achieving Member must reside at the same address and have the same address listed on their Marriott Bonvoy Account. The Recipient Member must (i) be the gifting Achieving Member’s companion, spouse, or significant other, and (ii) not yet have achieved Ambassador Elite Membership Status within the current Eligible Status Year, as defined in Section 4.2.e. Please be aware that any suspected fraud will be thoroughly investigated, and if confirmed, both Accounts’ will be revoked.
(C) The Elite Status of the Recipient Member will be upgraded within forty-eight (48) hours after the Achieving Member’s Ambassador receives adequate supporting documentation confirming the selected Recipient Member’s eligibility for the status upgrade. The Recipient Member will hold Ambassador Elite status for a minimum of a full calendar year. For example, if a Member is given the Ambassador Elite status benefit before the February 1, 2026, deadline for Elite status renewal, the Member will enjoy Ambassador Elite status for the remainder of 2025 (depending on the date of Plus One Benefit selection), which will continue through 2026 and expire by February 2027.
(D) To maintain the Plus One Benefit, the Achieving Member must meet the requirements set forth in Section 4.3.e.vi.A of the Marriott Bonvoy Program Rules, in the subsequent Eligible Status Year (2026 in the example above) to retain the Achieving Member’s own status and the Recipient Member’s Ambassador Elite status during the following calendar year (2027 in the example above). If the Achieving Member does not achieve the Ambassador Elite status needed to keep the Plus One Benefit, both the Achieving Member and the Recipient Member will be downgraded to Titanium Elite status in March of the calendar year following such subsequent Eligible Status Year (2027 in the example above). The Recipient Member can only keep Ambassador Elite status when the Achieving Member re-earns the Plus One Benefit and continues to authorize Recipient Member’s Account for the Plus One Benefit or when the Recipient Member achieves Ambassador Elite status on their own.
(E) Under no circumstances will the Loyalty Program provide Achieving Members or Receiving Members any Membership details or personal Member information in order to facilitate the Plus One Benefit.
(F) If the desired recipient of the Plus One Benefit is not currently a Member, then desired recipient must register at marriottbonvoy.com/join before the Plus One Benefit can be provided. Additionally, the Recipient Member cannot be a Marriott associate.
(G) For any changes to your Plus One Benefit recipient, reach out to Ambassador Service or your personal Ambassador for a one-time change.
(H) The Recipient Member will be assigned to the personal Ambassador of the Achieving Member. If the personal Ambassador of the Achieving Member changes, the Receiving Member’s personal Ambassador will update accordingly. Only the Achieving Recipient can request a change to their personal Ambassador.“
