„Due to specific market conditions affecting certain long-haul flows, Air France and KLM have introduced an adjustment to the refund conditions of their Flex fares on a limited number of routes. This change applies to selected long-haul flights operated and marketed by Air France and KLM, for tickets issued on Air France and KLM stock.
For tickets issued on or after April 21, 2026, customers travelling on the selected routes below will continue to have the flexibility to cancel their Flex fare before departure, subject to the following refund fees*:
Economy Flex: EUR 300
Premium/Premium Comfort Flex: EUR 400
Business Flex: EUR 500
La Première Flex fares remain fully refundable free of charge.
This measure applies only to the following routes:
Between Asia (including India) and the rest of the world, except routes with point of commencement in the United-States, Canada, and Mexico.
Between IATA-defined Europe and Tanzania, Kenya, and South Africa.
Routes to be filed, pending local regulatory approvals:
From Hong-Kong to France and the Netherlands
From Taiwan to the Netherlands
Between China and the rest of the world
From Japan to the rest of the world
Joint Venture scope will be implemented once agreed with airline partners.
These conditions apply only to tickets issued on or after April 21, 2026, and are limited to the specific routes listed above, except for bookings made before April 21, 2026, for which tickets have not yet been issued, a grace period through May 5, 2026, applies.“
