Auf US Blogs (z. B. Frequentmiler.boardingarea.com) die Möglichkeit eines Mattress Runs für zwei volle Jahre Top-Tier Globalist diskutiert. Ich stelle das mal hier kurz dar.
World of Hyatt hat derzeit eine Promo für doppelte Nächte laufen. Man erhält die Nächte als Statusnächte, wenn man sie gemacht hat und nochmals in 2021 am Ende der Promotion. Macht man einen 30 Nächte Stay mit Ende des Stays vom 01.01.2021.-04.01.2021, dann sollten eigentlich die Nächte in 2021 und nochmals in 2021 gutgeschrieben werden. Die Promo Zeit überlappt nämlich bis 04.01. in 2021 hinein. 60 Nächte in einem Jahr reichen dann für Globalist in 2021 und natürlich auch 2022.
Die Kurzbeschreibung:

Bonus Tier-Qualifying Night credits do not qualify for fast-track, quick qualify, or other elite tier qualification offers. The bonus nights will be posted to accounts after the promotion ends. For the purpose of this promotion, an “Eligible Night” is defined as any night where a member is paying an Eligible Rate or redeems a free night award for at least one night of their stay.
All points awarded under this promotion are Bonus Points. For the purpose of this promotion, an “Eligible Stay” is defined as any night where a member is paying an Eligible Rate or redeems a free night award for at least one night of their stay. Only the room occupied by the member will count toward this promotion. You must provide your World of Hyatt membership number at the time of check-in for each stay. Please allow two to three weeks after your qualifying stay for Bonus Points to be posted to your World of Hyatt account. Wer das macht, sollte das Risiko selbst abschätzen! Hyatt dürfte sehr widersprüchliche Aussagen dazu abgeben.
Funktioniert so nicht. Habe bei deutscher Hotline angerufen.
Das war auf Flyertalk schon klar, dass die deutsche Hotline das verneint.
Aber mal abgesehen davon, selbst wenn es funktionieren würde.
Wo liegt der Reiz?
KOSTEN
30 Nächte à 60 € = 1’800 €
ERTRAG
1’800 € = 2’000 $ = 2’000 x 5 Punkte = 10’000 Punkte
2 x Bonus Punkte = 20’000 Punkte
2’000 AA Meilen = 2’000 Meilen
Somit bezahlt man für 30’000 Hyatt Punkte plus 2’000 AA Meilen den stolzen Betrag von 1’800 €.
Lohnt sich das? Übersehe ich was?
Die Globalist Vorteile wenn du dann zwei Jahre viel reist und in Hyatt Hotels unterwegs bist zum Beispiel. Frühstück, Upgrade.

Markus, kannst Du uns sagen, in welchem Hotel Du die 15 Nächte machst? Ich habe in DE kein Hotel für 53€ pro Nacht gefunden. In London gab es wohl eins für £45 pro Nacht aber das geht aktuell wohl kaum
