Etihad hat die Übernahme von 20 A321LR gestartet. Mit diesem Refresh eines Teils der Flotte gibt es da nun eine neue Business und First. Die Konfiguration in fully-flat in 1-1 wird man von ITA kennen. Auch hier bei Etihad hat man sich für Stelia Aerospace Opera entschieden.

Im Vergleich zur Variante bei ITA wird die erste Reihe als First verkauft und hat Türen.

Die A321LR Business der ITA ist ein hervorragendes Produkt (Review und Review). Etihad hat hier definitiv einen guten Griff gemacht. Die erste Reihe als First zu verkaufen macht leider irgendwie keinen Sinn. Hier gibt es keine Abgrenzung zur Business und der Sitz an sich ist zur Business identisch. Nur mehr Legroom und die Türe machen irgendwie aus einer Business keine First.
