Der Hund des Hyatt Regency Hakone geht in Pension …
Das Hyatt Regency Hakone ist ein absolut steiles Hotel. Dieses Hyatt liegt in der sehr beliebten Gegend Hakone am Fuß des Fuji Ausläufers Mt. Hakone. Dort befinden sich ganz viele Thermalquellen, auch das Hyatt Regency hat einen riesigen Spa mit Onsen. Es ist zwar ein Hyatt Regency, hat aber ein Park Hyatt Design und schlägt preislich wahrscheinlich die meisten Park Hyatts. Richtig viel Hardware hat man nicht, ein kleines Boutique Hotel, Restaurants, Lobby und Onsen. Einen Pool oder Fitnesscenter sucht man vergebens. Trotzdem ist es ein absolutes over-the-top Luxushotel.

Das Hyatt Regency Hakone hat seit einiger Zeit einen Hund. Der läuft dort in der Lobby herum:

HARU is a male Black Labrador Retriever and a member of Hyatt Regency Hakone Resort and Spa as official dog in residence since April 2010. He is the first official dog in residence in all of the luxury hotels in Japan and also in Hyatt hotels all over the world.
HARU serves as the host of the “Dog Friendly Room”, where guests can stay with their pet dogs, and he always extends a courteous welcome to guests at the entrance.
HARU” is named because…
H (HA) and R stands for Hyatt Regency.
U stands for Union which symbolises the philosophy of the hotel with a heart.
HARU also means spring in Japanese, which is the season when HARU was born.
We all wish for the healthy development of HARU since spring in Hakone is filled with beautiful scenes of nature with fresh green leaves and a variety of flowers which altogether produce a feeling of vitality.
HARU is growing up day by day in a loving environment, and he is an employee in training to be a professional hotelier in the future!”
Haru ist leider mal vom einem Gast angefahren worden. Seitdem hinkt er ein wenig und hat auch immer einen Mitarbeiter an der Seite.
