Fünf Monate später startet Kuwait Airways nun wieder den Passagierverkehr. Für die Einreise verlangt Kuwait einen aktuellen Covid-19 Test, für den Transit scheinbar nicht.

“Kuwait Airways is pleased to resume limited scheduled flights starting from 1st of August 2020 to certain destinations and has planned a gradual increase in its commercial operations in accordance with Kuwait Government’s instructions and destination governments’ guidelines. The safety, security and good health of our passengers and employees are our highest priority. Our offices have reopened to assist you to plan your future trip and we request your patience and cooperation under this difficult circumstance as we need to follow the COVID -19 restrictions and operating conditions prevailing in Kuwait and overseas destinations.
Our refund policy has been changed to adapt to our customer’s expectations and we have made sure that our valued clients do not lose their ticket value – we are ready to refund it or keep for use on future Kuwait Airways flights depending on availability of seats in the original class of travel or sub-class of travel. Passengers whose travel plans are disrupted by COVID-19 related flight or travel restrictions, please contact our Call Centre 171 or our Kuwait Airways Offices world over or your preferred travel booking agent for further assistance.
Scheduled flights may change from time to time on short notice according to latest updates on COVID-19 operating conditions, protocol and procedures issued by relevant authorities from time to time and this might result in delays, flight timing changes or flight cancelations.
Kuwait Airways has implemented extensive cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing processes for all our aircrafts between flights for maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene standards, and our new fleet is equipped with the most advanced air filtration/ latest ventilation systems providing excellent cabin air quality and the most effective protection against infection on board.. The risk of catching an infection on board our aircraft is already very low, but we have spared no effort in reviewing and redesigning every step, from check-in to disembarkation. Every measure taken in this regard is an additional reduction in risk and to make flying as safe as possible.

Our commercial flights to other destinations will be as per the operating conditions, protocol and procedures issued by relevant authorities at destination countries/airports. Passenger instructions :
3- In the event that the traveler is suspected of being infected with the Virus Covid-19 due to the presence of prima facie symptoms confirmed and verified through the procedures carried out by the competent authorities, the air carrier has the right to refuse to accept passengers traveling on the flight in order to preserve public health.

Passengers are kindly requested to keep /update their direct contact details up to date (Mobile and Email). If necessary, Kuwait Airways may need to contact passengers regarding schedule changes and other travel updates.
5- Entry Requirements
It is the sole responsibility of passengers to ensure that they meet the Entry and Health Requirements of the Desired Destination Countries and should be aware that those requirements may change between the time of booking and the intended time of travel and passengers will only be accepted on flights if they comply with the eligibility and entry criteria requirements of their destination countries. Kuwait Airways cannot be held liable for any disruption to the travel plans resulting from incorrect travel documentation or noncompliance of any requirements of any destination countries.
