Emirates hat sehr großzügige Umbuchungsregeln laufen. Die wurden erneut verlängert.
Man kann sich einen Travel Voucher holen, oder aber man behält das Ticket. Das ist dann bis in 24 Monaten umbuchbar. Das Ziel kann man in der Region variieren und mit Fare Differenz die Region wechseln. Refund bleibt auch möglich.

How to keep your ticket for the future
For tickets issued on or before 30 September 2020

For ticket issued on or after 1 October 2020

Can I change my destination?
For tickets issued on or before 30 September 2020
The fare you paid will be accepted for any flight to the same destination or within the same region. For example, if your original booking was for London, you can rebook it for Amsterdam for no extra charge.
For ticket issued on or after 1 October 2020
The fare you paid will be accepted for any flight to the same destination or within the same region in the same travel class. For example, if your original booking was for London, you can rebook it for Amsterdam in the same booking class for no extra charge.

Are there any change fees?
There are no change fees when you rebook within the 24‑month period so you have more flexibility to plan ahead.

You can keep your ticket to use in the next 24 months if your booking is for travel on or before 30 June 2021.
Can I request a full refund even if my flight hasn’t been cancelled?
Yes, you can request a refund if your flight hasn’t been cancelled. A change fee and/or a difference in fare may also apply if you choose to change the date or destination of your booking.
What can I do if my destination currently has travel restrictions and I’m not sure if this will still be in effect on my date of travel?
You have several options available to you if your flight has not yet been cancelled. You can keep your booking and look out for updates on the situation at your destination. You can also reschedule or cancel your booking.
However, please note that if your situation doesn’t fall under the requirements of our relaxed policies due to the COVID‑19 situation, a change fee and/or fare difference may apply if you decide to change or cancel your trip.
What can I do if my situation is not covered under your relaxed polices due to COVID‑19 but I want to cancel my trip anyway?
You can still reschedule or cancel your flight. However, please note that a change fee and/or fare difference may apply. And if you choose to request a refund for this booking, the amount will be processed according to the fare rules of your ticket.
Using your travel voucher
We’re no longer issuing travel vouchers, but if you’ve already exchanged your ticket for a travel voucher it will be valid for one year from the date of issue and you can extend the validity for another year.
What is a travel voucher?
A travel voucher represents the value you paid for your ticket. They are valid for one year from the date of issue and can be used for any Emirates flight or service either for yourself or your friends and family.
You can use the travel voucher throughout the year for multiple transactions up to its full value.
What if I haven’t spent the full value within the time period?
If you’re unable to use the full value of your travel voucher within 12 months from the date it was issued, you will be entitled to a refund of the unused amount or you can extend the voucher for another year.”

Das tönt aber nicht danach, als ob man einen neuen Flug für ein anderes Datum ohne Aufpreis wählen kann. Schaut so aus, als ob der bezahlte Preis einfach angerechnet wird. Oder seh ich das falsch?

Aber steht denn dort in deinem Dokument nicht eben das, was ich oben vermutete. Es heisst doch, der Preisdifferenzen muss eingesammelt werden. Also insgesamt ist nur die Umbuchungsgebühr erlassen?

Wenn du das Ziel änderst: “If passenger wishes to rebook/reissue to another region, no Reissue Fee to be collected, however Fare difference (if any) will need to be collected”

Ah, ok, ja. Also, ich lese, dass man in der selben ZONE (also z. B. von BKK nach HKT) keine Fare Difference bezahlen muss. Wenn man hingegen die Zone wechselt (also z. B. statt nach BKK nach MEL) fliegen möchte, dann fällt eine Fare Difference an.
Gab es nicht eine Gesellschaft, welche auch den Zonenwechsel erlaubt(e)?

Spannendes ticket dazu:

das gibt bis zu 7 segmente in EK F für fast nix ;-)
Hatte das Ticket auch ins Auge gefasst – die ca. 30.000 Alaska Meilen sind ja schließlich auch noch gratis dabei – aber habe mich noch nicht getraut zu buchen… Hast du das Ticket gebucht und schon Erfahrung mit dem kostenfreien umbuchen, Joe?
Ich hab mir heute zwei von diesen tickets gebucht, habe noch zwei andere, die ich im Mai und Juli spekulativ für November gebucht hatte. Die PNR’s dieser tickets sind jetzt ohne Flüge, die tickets sind open und noch 18 Monate gültig.
8 Segmente EK First für weniger als 2’k€ sind ein no-brainer, alles full flex first ickets, die wären eh kostenfrei umbuchbar und stornierbar. Bei diesen speziellen COVID-Regelungen kommt die Änderung in der Zielregion und die Gültigkeitsdauer von 24 Monaten netterweise noch dazu.
Wie bucht man das denn? Über Ita matrix finde ich das routing über HKG nicht, und ich weiß auch nicht wie du auf 8 segmente kommst. BKK-HKG-DXB-MCT ist doch 3 segmente pro strecke.

Habs gefunden LOL €1877 für BKK HKG BKK DXB MCT round trip. Also echt 8 segmente. Wäre die frage wie man dazu ohne fare difference das ziel variiert. Bei mir wird auch alles als boeing 777 angezeigt. nix A380. Dazu kommt dass bei 3h Flugdauer (BKK HKG) bzw. 1h (DXB MCT) kaum zeit ist zu genießen und zu entspannen. Aber echt ein cooler deal!

der A380 3-class fliegt momentan nur von März bis Ende Okt auf DXB-BKK-HKG, vorher/nachher nur two class A380. Allerdings kann sich das auch wieder ändern, wer weiss das schon.
Das Ziel kannst du kostenfrei in der Zielregion (Middle East) variieren, bleiben allerdings wenig spannende Optionen (Jordanien, Bahrein evtl.) oder fliegst direkt nach DXB ohne den Umweg über Oman. Obwohl mir der Oman sehr gut gefallen hat.

Spannend bei der Zieländerung ist allerdings noch die Option ggf. nach Kuwait umzubuchen – hier wird ja teilweise auf den Flügen die neue Game-Changer First Class genutzt.
Kritisch sehe ich allerdings in den Fare Rules den Passus mit dem Downgrade in die Business Class ohne Kompensation auf Flügen bei denen keine First angeboten wird… Ich befürchte schon fast große Diskussionen mit den Agents am Telefon nachdem ich nun auch gebucht habe…
