Eigentlich ist das ITA Volare Programm bereits angezählt und wird mit dem Engagement von Lufthansa bei ITA auslaufen. Mit Ende April ist ITA von SkyTeam weg und die SkyTeam Statusbenefits entfallen dann.

Interessanterweise hat man bei ITA Volare nun erneut einen Durchgang für einen Status Match aufgelegt. Für Oneworld und Emirates Kunden gibt man eine Runde Status Match aus.

| The Status Match campaign of Volare, the loyalty program of ITA Airways, is open from 22 April 2025 to 10 June 2025. The promotion is valid for all Volare members who entered a residential address outside Italy during registration. As explained below, the initiative enables Volare members to combine their loyalty program status with third-party airlines that participate in the Status Match campaign to their Volare account. The initiative is promoted by Italia Trasporto Aereo S.p.A. („ITA Airways”), the Promoter, and Volare Loyalty S.p.A., the Co-Promoter, of the Volare reward scheme. In order to take part in the initiative, you must: be a member of the Volare or Volare Avventura program. For further information on the terms, conditions and requirements to subscribe to the Volare and Volare Avventura programs, please visit the dedicated page. be the holder of a card of a level higher than the basic level, i.e. the entry level assigned at the time of joining the loyalty program of one of the airline companies participating in the Status Match promotion. The list of participating airline companies can be viewed here. not have taken part in any previous Volare Status Match promotions. Please note that: Only valid cards will be accepted. Only cards that state the first and last name of the beneficiary will be accepted. The details of the third-party airline loyalty program card (the “Card of Origin”) must match the details entered in the Volare account through which the Status Match application is being made and the identification document attached with the application. Status Match applications with a Card of Origin status equal to or lower than the current Volare Club membership will not be considered valid. How do I apply for a Status Match? Status Match applications can only be made via the “Status Match” area of your personal Volare account. Once you have accessed your personal Volare account profile, you will need to provide the following information in the relevant section: The name of the airline company that issued the Card of Origin. The status associated with the Card of Origin. The Card of Origin (you will need to attach a clear and legible photograph of the Card of Origin, which must also contain your first name, last name, airline company, status of origin, and expiration date; the maximum accepted size is 2MB, formats: pdf, png, jpg, jpeg). A valid identification document. The document will be used exclusively for the purpose of this initiative and will be deleted at the end of the Status Match promotion. When you send the Status Match application, a message will appear confirming that the application is being processed, together with an application reference number. Once the application has been verified, the new status and the relevant digital card will be awarded and recognized by ITA Airways systems within 60 days from the date of the application. Terms and conditions Status Match applications sent via any other channel (e.g. phone, Contact Center, e-mail, social media, etc.) will not be accepted. Any Status Match requests that do not include all the details necessary for acceptance or that are accompanied by illegible documentation will not be processed. Only one Status Match application is permitted per applicant. Only one additional Status Match application may be made following an unsuccessful application for the current initiative, provided the initiative is still active. If the status is not matched, members will receive a negative outcome e-mail. The reason for rejection can be viewed in the „Do you need help?“ section of your personal Volare account. If the Status Match application is accepted, the member will receive a welcome e-mail at the address they used to register their Volare account, informing them of their upgrade to the new Volare Club obtained via the Status Match promotion. The new status in Volare and the corresponding club membership will remain valid until 31 December 2025. In the event of conduct that, at the sole discretion of the Promoter, is deemed suspicious, fraudulent, or in violation of the normal operational procedures for the initiative, or if a participant provides false information, the Promoter reserves the right to revoke the assigned benefits, including the Club status obtained through the Volare Status Match initiative. Der neue Status gilt dann bis Ende 2025. Wer gleich jetzt an einen weiteren Status Match zu Miles and More denkt, den muss ich leider enttäuschen. Derzeit erhalten zwar ITA Volare Statuskunden einen Match zu Miles and More personalisiert angeboten. Wer einen ITA Status durch einen Status Match hält, ist davon leider ausgenommen.
Ende des Jahres soll ein erneuter Durchgang eines Status Match von ITA Volare zu Lufthansa Miles and More kommen. Die genauen Bedingungen sind leider noch nicht öffentlich. Strategisch wäre sicher ein ITA Volare Status Match keine blöde Geschichte. Normalerweise sollte man ja Matches nur bei einem wirklichen Bedarf durchführen. Dadurch dass ITA Volare aber ablaufen wird, kann man getrost so einen ITA Volare Status einfach mitnehmen.
