Mit der Qatar Qsuites Business hat man sich ein wirklich exzellentes Business Produkt gegeben. Das soll so gut werden, dass die First eigentlich obsolet wird.
Der schillernde CEO Hr. Akbar Al Baker hat das in einem Interview nochmals drastisch formuliert:
“First class is not part of the new delivery plan of the airline’s fleet. Instead, Qatar Airways is developing a new product for the narrowbody planes that will be introduced next year. A new Qsuite product is in the works, dubbed Qsuite Phase 2, which has not been released publicly. The product design is being produced now, but the airline will not reveal it until the widebody planes equipped with it arrive. It’s a revolution of how people travel in business class. This design will not be on narrowbodies, but only on widebodies.”

Also eine neue Qatar Qsuite Business wird bereits geplant. Die A380 werden gemeinsam mit der First bei Lieferung der neuen Flugzeuge in die Flugzeuggeschichte eingehen.
