Lufthansa bietet in Deutschland mit dem Express Rail und Rail&Fly (kostenpflichtig) zwei sehr beliebte Programme für den Transfer auf die Schiene an. Das erweitert man nun auch für Korea.

Der koreanische Anbieter von Hochgeschwindigkeitszügen Korail bringt euch ins ganze Land. Die Anschlüsse kann man direkt auf der LH Page buchen.

So ganz hochwertiges Express Rail Service braucht man leider nicht erwarten. Verpasst man den Zug, gibt es nur einen Stehplatz. Ansonsten eine sehr coole Sache!

Die Infos:

„It’s bookable only together with Lufthansa long-haul flight, not possible book the train tickets only.
A train segment with the train number starting 9B includes AREX, Airport Railroad, (Express and All-stop) train ticket as well as KTX, Korea Train Express, train ticket.
Train seat is in normal class only.
Check-in for train and flight need to be made separately.
Baggage isn’t automatically connected and transported.
Check-in for train
For trains, check-in should be done at ​AccesRail within 72 hours of train departure to print your two train tickets (KTX and AREX) or download mobile boarding pass.
A train segment operated by 9B can be changed 72 hours prior to departure.
Within 24 hours of departure, no changes permitted regardless of check-in.
AREX (Express and All-stop) is booked at the time of check-in and are non-refundable.
Liability
If you do not use a KTX segment, you may board an international flight with non-refundable conditions for the train segment. For this cases, please contact Lufthansa Service Center.
Refunds and reissuance are processed according to international fare regulations for international flights.
If you are unable to board a KTX due to flight delays, etc., KORAIL will provide a standing seat on the next available train. In this case, you can board with your existing train boarding pass. (Passport/flight ticket required)“
